Creative Root Cause Analysis (CRCA) brings a new paradigm to problem solving. How Does It Work?

Creative Root Cause Analysis is designed to facilitate team synergy and solve multi-faceted problems. In the Creative Root Cause Analysis Team Discovery Exercise, team members first work independently, then together to discover team problem-solving steps, learn the power of probing questions, and find out about the five steps of the Creative Root Cause Team Communication Cycle. The Creative Root Cause Analysis Participant’s Guide allows a team to use the workbook to learn the CRCA process while solving an actual problem, often in less than four hours.

About the Interactive Version

The computer version of Creative Root Cause Analysis follows the same 3-phase, 6-step process form as the popular paper workbook version. Once you download the program to your computer you can conduct thousands of problem-solving sessions. Each file can be saved, revisited and transported to other teammates who also have the program on their computers. The program works well as a “ThinkPad” device to prepare for a problem-solving session or to do individual problem solving. Project the program through an LCD and an entire team can view and discuss a problem while the operator captures and saves discussion in the dialogue boxes.

How Creative Root Cause Analysis Fits into the Advanced Team System

The Creative Root Cause Analysis program comprises Volume II of the Advanced Team System, a comprehensive guide to teamwork that is made up of three volumes. In order to experience the full benefit of the program, you will need to purchase the Volume II Master Facilitator Guide, Creative Root Cause Analysis. The Master Facilitator Guide includes the materials you will need to successfully lead a Creative Root Cause Analysis workshop and guide a team through a successful problem-solving project. Additional workbooks are available for you to purchase for each member of your team.

CRCA Master Facilitator Guide, Volume II includes an introduction to Volume II, the CRCA Participant’s Guide, the CRCA Team Discovery Exercise, black and white masters for presentation overheads, and cue card masters.

CRCA Presentation PowerPoint is a professional, full-color presentation that includes CRCA copyright and trademark materials and graphics in an easy-to-use format. Users must sign an end user license agreement.

CRCA Participant Workbook facilitates the six-step process from start to finish. A color foldout displays a root cause diagram. A team may use the workbook to learn the process while solving an actual problem, often in less than four hours’ time.

CRCA Team Discovery Exercise is a business simulation that uses team participation to teach the process, steps and communication cycle of the CRCA method. Using this exercise, participants learn the basics of CRCA in about three hours.

CRCA Interactive Program is available for your Mac or PC. Purchase and install this program on your computer for continuous personal use. The program is licensed and may only be installed on the buyer’s personal computer. Each separate user is required to purchase a separate program. Pricing is available for multiple installations.
